Hydrafacial for a new skin in 30 minutes

Offered by almost all beauty salons on Askeed, hydrafacial, after microneedling, is the most popular treatment in beauty institutes in Switzerland, and you will know why?

What is hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial is an aesthetic treatment that allows you to obtain new skin and a radiance boost in just 30 minutes, without stinging or pain.

It improves the quality of the skin by tightening the pores, reducing excess sebum and erasing skin spots. It also helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, thanks to a plumping effect.

How is the hydrafacial treatment carried out?

the hydrafacial care takes place in an aesthetic cabinet. The session lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the protocol used. The basic protocol includes 3 main steps:

- The first step is to clean the skin, using a solution based on glycolic acid

- The second, to extract the impurities located on the surface of the skin, with a solution based on salicylic acid.

- The third and final step rehydrates and protects the skin using a solution containing glycopeptide which deeply hydrates the skin and restores its radiance.

Treatments to boost the result

To this basic protocol, we can add 1, 2 or 3 boosters depending on the skin problems encountered.

There are boosters to fight acne, boosters to fight against blemishes and boosters formulated specifically to boost radiance.

Whatever the protocol used, the treatment always ends with an LED phototherapy session to reduce redness and accelerate skin repair.

Side effects of hydrafacial

After the treatment, redness may appear, but it disappears after 15 to 30 minutes. You can't quite call this a side effect, as this is a normal reaction of the skin.

However, there is 3 contraindications :

- allergic to algae, because one of the solutions used contains algae derivatives.

- the presence of an open wound or severe skin irritation

- the presence of a very productive acne which could make the application of the treatment impossible.

How many sessions are needed?

The skin is an organ that renews itself every 3 weeks. So, ideally, one session per month is recommended to maintain the benefits of the treatment.

The sessionhydrafacial in Geneva costs around 200 CHF, which earned him the title of care for the stars; but with the huge discounts obtained thanks to Askeed, it becomes quite accessible to everyone.

Book your salon during off-peak hours or at the last minute and the benefit will become even more attractive.
